Spring Sellabration

This month I'm planning a "Spring Sellabration." I like to plan this event every year in celebration of Spring and to introduce some of my new products I'm selling in my shop, along with my new designs of jewelry pieces that I have been working on.

In this picture, the necklace has an African theme going on. It can be worn by a man or woman. It's designed with wooden beads and stringed on hemp cord. I really dig this.

This is my favorite color, and it's similar to the color of my birthstone. This necklace is made with chalk turquoise 10x5 to 10x6 mm flat rectangle and 12 x5 to 13x 7 mm rectangle. This set has a matching pair of earrings & bracelets

I call this necklace "Queen of Wisdom." I love this, because it seems to portray a woman's strength. This necklace is made with wooden beads as well and stringed on hemp cords.

Out on an elegant evening say's this necklace set with the matching earrings. These are made with glass beads. It says, "sharp & edgy" Loovve it!!!

"Bursts of sunshine, and a silver linning in the clouds." This jewelry set set the mood for calm effect and puts you in the mood for a light luncheon.

"Let's go shopping," maybe for flowers. This set reminds me of a playful, colorful garden. This piece is a casual set to wear to just go shopping with friends and have afternoon tea later. Have you ever notice how your art, whatever your medium is, speaks to you? It's the creative mind speaking to us, pushing us to create without rules and think outside the box.
So this is some of my Spring Collection that I'm showcasing at my Spring Sellabration event, I'm having this month. It's been a lot of work preparing and getting things together, making sure that everything is in order, but it has truly been exciting and fun. I still have a few more loose ends to tie up, and I'm pretty sure that even getting very close to time of the event, there will be something that needs to be done.
Hope everyone celebrates Spring in some form or another, and enjoy the harvest of warmth, new life and in nature's beauty it brings.

Marriage

I wonder. Will I ever experience it? Where are all the good men? I've been patient and waiting, and let me tell you-I'm not getting any younger. I've been in mood for the past few days. A mood wondering if I'll ever, ever, ever meet the one. My sister said, "just be patient, the right one will come along." O.k. I'm patient, I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waaaaiiiitttttiiiinnnnggg!!! Where is he? She also said, "enjoy your single life girl." Well that all good and well, but I still want a companion to share my life with, my interest, ambitions & vice versa with him to.

Well I'm finish venting and releasing. I just had to get it out. I feel better now.

Until later ya'll.

Happy New Year & New Year Resolutions

I hope everyone has a blessed and new good things happening for them in the coming New Year, which is only a couple of hours away. I'm looking for a great New Year and many great expectations for it to. I'm looking forward ahead of great things to take place, more good news and even people getting along with each other with great respect, forgiveness and love.

My New Years resolution(s) is very simple. I expect to be finish with both my college courses before 2011. Live a healthy lifestyle from now on, and before December of 2010 sets in-I'm praying that I'll be in my new home. I'll have to work extra hard to make that happen, but with a prayer and faith, I know God is pulling for me.

O.K. Our traditional dinner for New Years is Hopping John, Collard Greens & Ham. Of course there is dessert. Not many people I know likes this kind of dessert. At first I didn't, but it requires a taste and getting use to. So, what kind of dessert will we be having? Fruit Cake. I love this cake, in fact as you all may know that it is traditional having it arounf the Holidays. About round the time of Thanksgiving. I like plenty of nuts in mine, both the walnuts and pecans. Oh yeah I forgot, Coburg Egg Nog. Love it!! Can't do without that around the Holidays.

Well I have to admit, I always miss Christmas when it goes. I anticipate it when it comes, but hate it when it goes. So I console myself of the fact that I have a whole year to look forward and prepare for it again. In fact it is a perfect time to start making, working and/or buying gifts for Christmas 2010. When I'm finish working on it or have bought something, I can find a nice big box and put all my collected gifts in it to save until that fun and festive day comes which is Christmas.

So what are your New Year's Resoolution? What are you having for your traditional New Years dinner? and What are your plans for the New Year that you would like to accomplish?

Whatever it is, I pray that you will be successful of getting it and/or fulfilling your dreams.

Happy New Year Everybody and may you all live a life full of love & peace, with yourselves, family and friends.

Peace Out until next year.
